Basalite · Pavers
Basalite Classic Paver is a geometric-pattern paver — an octagonal field unit with a small square inset that fills the gaps between units, creating a repeating interlocked pattern across the surface. This distinctive shape sets it apart from every other paver in the Basalite range.
The octagon-and-inset pattern produces a formal, traditional, decorative surface closer to a tiled floor than a stone patio. Because the inset is a separate unit, contractors commonly run it in a contrasting color against the field for a strong two-tone graphic effect — this is the design feature that makes Classic Paver unique.
Applications include patios, courtyards, pool surrounds, garden paths, and entry landings where a decorative, ornamental surface is wanted. The three colors span a wide range — cool gray (Pacifica), warm olive-tan (Carmel), and terracotta red (Mendocino) — making it suited to both contemporary and Mediterranean or Spanish-style architecture common across the East Bay.
